Dreaming...?
Has anyone else thought that it was possible for there to be levels of dreams? What if we die, its like we fall into another world. A dream world. I refuse to believe that when a person dies that they simply cease to exist, their spirit gone and no soul to speak of. I also don't believe in the Christian Heaven or Hell, so therefore I don't believe people go to either place. No living person can answer this with 100% conviction.
Re: Dreaming...?
Your idea isnt far fetched at all. In fact many people include the dream world in the concept of the astral world. So when we dream they believe that we are, in a way, astral traveling, in a place between worlds.
When we die, we break all the way through into the spiritual world, but that doesnt mean the astral/dream world exists as a sort of middle place.

What I think dreaming is, for the most part, is a form of astral travel and a way of allowing the body to rest. When the soul leaves the body when we sleep, it goes wandering about in the astral realm. Some of the things it encounters we remember as dreams, or so I think. I've also heard that the main place the soul tries to reach is a place of learning. I've read somewhere that the soul tries to reach Shamaballa, the place where all the Ascended Masters resided. However, most souls don't make it there and are 'caught up' in other things. Basically, it encounters some sort of obstacle along the way.

Thats a good point about the connectedness of what we encounter in the astral world and what we remember as dreams.
I would have to agree with you, Ive just never really thought about that aspect.

Re: Dreaming...?
I, personally, am going to TRY to keep a dream journal. I usually don't remember my dreams after about 5-10 minutes after waking up, so hopefully I can try to translate my dreams into something that makes sense =P I've always been interested in interpreting dreams, and it also seems that every dream I've had since I successfully astral-projected has been quite lucid. They are more clear, and I actually feel myself within them. Not to mention that most of my dreams are at least slightly unpleasant, and I have had a few that I've woken myself up from because it got to the point of my not even wanting to be asleep, or continue having that dream/nightmare. I feel like it would be very helpful to me spiritually to interpret my nightmares and confront my physical issues that are causing them.

I agree with you entirely, a dream journal is an excellent idea. Its something we could all benefit from doing. I use to do it and I found it very insightful and interesting. Yes my problem is I forget my dreams too, so I kept the journal near my bed. If you get good and dream interpretation you can really gain same great perspective and insight on yourself and your subconscious.
Re: Dreaming...?
It makes me sad to look back on these older comments and I've not even begun to do what I was so inspired about doing. Dreams have always been interesting to me. I think of dreams as our subconscious mind actually trying to aid our conscious mind. The images and actions portrayed in certain dreams, to me, is merely our subconscious trying to decipher the day-to-day issues our mundane physical lives produce for us. Hence the old saying, "just sleep on it".
